Wineries
Rocheport has two wineries: Les Bourgeois Vineyards on the bluff just west of town, and The Rocheport Winery at Mount Nebo Inn on First Street. You can reach both from the Katy Trail.
Les Bourgeois Vineyards
Curtis "Doc" and Martha Bourgeois opened Les Bourgeois in 1985, on bluff land they bought in 1974. Jacob and Rachel Holman have owned it since 2019. The open-air A-Frame Winegarden sits at the top of the bluff at 14020 W Highway BB, reached by car or by a steep spur from the Katy Trail. It opens seasonally, roughly spring through fall, and runs a live music series whose dates are on the events calendar. The Blufftop Bistro is next door. It is not open daily: it hosts private events and special events only. The tasting room and gift shop is at 12847 W Highway BB, near I-70. The grape to try is Norton, Missouri's state grape, a dark, full-bodied red.
The Rocheport Winery at Mount Nebo Inn
The Rocheport Winery was founded in 2019 in the historic Mount Nebo Inn at 801 First Street, steps from the trail. It makes sparkling wine and serves wood-fired pizza. Wine Spectator gave its wine list an Award of Excellence in 2024 and a Best of Award of Excellence in 2025.
