The Rocheport Times was reestablished in 2022 by Roman and Tara Clarkson as an alternative news source and comprehensive guide dedicated to the city of Rocheport and the surrounding 65279 Missouri area. After the Clarksons discovered that the first newspaper in Rocheport was called The Times, which was published from 1868-1869, they decided to revive the historic name.
The Rocheport Times focuses on local issues and topics that might be of importance to our readership. Our goal is to provide news and commentary on the arts, entertainment, and goings-on in this area, along with highlighting the local businesses, leaders and residents.
