Clark Lane, Columbia: Sidewalk Work Now Starts Nov. 9

Sponsored by Southern Provisions

Clark Lane in Columbia now starts its ADA sidewalk and curb-ramp work Monday, Nov. 9, MoDOT said in a Nov. 3 release, about a week later than first planned. Weather pushed back the original Nov. 3 start date.

Contractor Ti-Zack Concrete, LLC expects to work Boone County Route PP (Clark Lane) from the I-70/U.S. 63 Connector to Woodland Springs Court for about two weeks. The Creekwood Parkway entrance off Clark Lane will close during construction, though MoDOT hasn’t set an exact closure date yet. Crews will use single-lane closures with flaggers as needed.

Clark Lane is the first stop on a larger $1,362,809.88 ADA contract that also covers Range Line Street (Route 763) between Vandiver Drive and Elleta Boulevard, and several Providence Road (Route 163) intersections — Route AC, Southampton Drive, Mick Deaver Memorial Drive, Green Meadows Road and Route K/Old Plank Road. It’s the same corridor where MoDOT’s separate I-70 widening project is rebuilding nearby interchanges. MoDOT expects the full ADA contract, all locations included, to wrap by Dec. 31, 2026, weather permitting.
