Fulton Resignation of member ordinance (§ 2-58)

Chapter 2: Administration · Article II. City Council

Any member of the council may resign at any time by addressing the resignation in writing to the mayor, who shall lay the resignation before the council at the first meeting after he receives the resignation. The council shall accept the resignation by motion which shall be noted in the journal of the council proceedings.
