Fayette Appointment and Promotions ordinance (§ 125.340)
Chapter 125: Personnel Administration System · Article V. Specific Rules and Regulations
Appointments to and promotions shall be made by the Board of Aldermen on the basis of merit, which shall be determined by evaluation of the applicant's training, education, experience, physical fitness, oral interview, and whenever practical, a written examination or demonstration test.
