Fayette Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) ordinance (§ 125.120)

A. The responsibility of protecting health, employment and privacy rights of the employees of the City of Fayette and related City of Fayette workplace employees is a fundamental consideration of the Board of Aldermen of Fayette, Missouri.

B. Existing State personnel laws, rules, and policies regarding employment, working conditions, dismissal, sick leave, termination of employment, and related matters shall apply to individuals diagnosed as having AIDS on the same basis as for persons having other diseases or conditions which may incapacitate them.
