Fayette Vacancy ordinance (§ 120.140)

At such times as the office of the City Administrator shall become unfilled and vacant, the duties and powers of the City Administrator shall be vested in the office of the Mayor and Board of Aldermen. During any such vacancy all ordinances directing or authorizing any such activity or directive to be carried out by the City Administrator shall be read as if the Mayor and Board of Aldermen were inserted for the words "City Administrator."
