The Police Foundation of Hallsville in northern Boone County holds its sixth annual Brews and BBQ fundraiser Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Bob Lemone Building.
The evening, called “Brews & BBQ: Backing Our Bravest,” is at 500 E. Highway OO, the City of Hallsville says. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and dinner is at 6:30 p.m. A table for six costs $200 and a single ticket costs $40. Hallsville City Hall takes reservations and questions at 573-696-3885.
Hallsville is about 15 miles north of Columbia on Route 124. Boone County voters, including those in Hallsville, decide Proposition L and other measures next week. Hallsville High also made our pages this summer when its wastewater testing pilot became a model for a statewide rule.
