Westbound Interstate 70 traffic near Boonville moves into newly built median lanes starting about 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, between Exit 106 (Route 87) and Exit 101 (Route 5), the Missouri Department of Transportation says. Drivers will stay in that pattern for several months while crews rebuild the westbound lanes.
To make the switch, the westbound ramps at Exit 101 close Oct. 29–30 and the westbound ramps at Exit 106 close Oct. 29–31. Exit 103 (Route B) stays open. MoDOT’s detour uses Routes 135 and 41 through Exit 98. Eastbound traffic is not affected.
