Hallsville Duties of Clerk as Collector ordinance (§ 115.110)

A. Duties. It shall be the duty of the Collector to collect and receive all money due on special assessments and special taxes that are not paid directly to the Treasurer, and to keep such records pertaining to such collections as may be required by statute or ordinance.

B. Reports. The Collector shall make such reports regarding delinquent special assessments as are required by statute, and shall make a monthly report to the Board of Aldermen, showing what money has been received and the source thereof. The Collector shall also make an annual report, during the last month of the fiscal year, showing all of the activities of his office.
