Glasgow Duty of Owner of Nuisance Dog ordinance (§ 205.080)

Chapter 205: Animal Regulations · Article I. Dog Regulations

In short: If your dog has been declared a nuisance, you must keep it from repeating the behavior named in the notice. If it happens again, the dog may be impounded immediately and then disposed of or redeemed by another person, and you can be penalized under city ordinances.

Our plain-English summary, not the official text or legal advice. The ordinance below is what counts.

Any owner whose dog has been determined to be a nuisance shall ensure that his/her dog does not repeat any of the actions or behavior for which the notice was given. If the owner fails to ensure that none of these reoccur, or if the behavior does reoccur the dog may be immediately impounded as provided in Section 205.180, and either disposed of or redeemed by another as provided in Section 205.160 and Section 205.170. In addition, the failure to prevent the dog from repeating any of the nuisance activities shall be an offense punishable under the ordinances of the City of Glasgow.
