Fulton Terms of members, removal from office ordinance (§ 86-27)

(a) The members of the planning and zoning commission shall hold office for four years, except that the terms of the citizen members first appointed shall be for varying periods so that succeeding terms will be staggered.

(b) Any vacancy in a membership shall be filled for the unexpired term by appointment as aforesaid.

(c) The council may remove any citizen member for cause stated in writing and after public hearing.

(d) Any member who fails to attend three consecutive regular meetings without being formally excused by the commission shall forfeit his/her membership.
