Fulton Complaint—Procedures ordinance (§ 2-278)

In the impeachment and removal of any officer of the city from office, it shall be necessary that the charges be set out in writing in sufficient fullness to correctly advise the officer of the nature and character of the complaint, sworn and subscribed to by the person making the complaint before some person authorized by the laws of the state to administer oaths. Such complaint shall be filed with the city clerk or with the mayor and shall be laid before the city council by such officer without delay.
