Fulton Suspension of officer ordinance (§ 2-274)

Chapter 2: Administration · Article IV. Officers and Employees

Whenever an impeachment proceeding shall be started or commenced against any city officer and as soon as the complaint has been filed with the city clerk or mayor, the mayor, with the consent of the majority of the council, may suspend such officer, if they think it to be for the best interest of the city.
