Fulton Assistant ordinance (§ 2-238)
Chapter 2: Administration · Article IV. Officers and Employees
The director of administration shall appoint an assistant city clerk, upon the recommendation of the city clerk and with the advice and consent of the mayor and the council. The assistant clerk shall perform the duties of the city clerk in the city clerk's absence, and the service rendered shall be in the name of and for the clerk.
