Fulton Utility deposits ordinance (§ 114-99)

(a) Deposits shall be required of all utility customers prior to connection to city utilities, except as provided in sections 114-100 and 114-101.

(b) Utility deposits shall be placed in the deposit fund of the utility for which the deposit was collected.

(c) Following the final readout of a customer's utility meter, the customer's deposit shall be applied to the unpaid bill, and the balance of the deposit, if any, shall be returned to the customer.
