Columbia Minimum and maximum pay ranges ordinance (§ 19-71)

The minimum and maximum pay ranges of permanent employees shall be established by the city council by ordinance as a part of the annual budget process. The pay ranges once established by ordinance shall be in force and effect for the applicable fiscal year and thereafter until altered by ordinance of the city council. The pay ranges established by the council may include educational incentives as the council deems appropriate.
