Boonville Same—Outside city ordinance (§ 21-158)

(a) The rates for water hereinbefore specified shall be applicable solely to premises located within the corporate limits of the city.

(b) The water rate for water supplied by the city to customers outside the city limits shall be as provided in the city fee schedule.

(c) Nothing in this section shall be construed to apply to organized water districts which may obtain water from the city, and the board of public works is hereby authorized and empowered to contract with such water districts as may obtain their water supplies from said city; provided, however, that said board shall not contract with any such water districts for a rate lower than the lowest rate established for consumers within the city without prior approval of the city council.

(d) The cost of such extension to said consumers shall be borne by the consumers and not the city.
