Columbia trash and recycling

The city’s holiday page says there is no residential curbside collection (RCC) on Wednesday, Nov. 11. Wednesday to Friday collection is provided Thursday to Saturday. Put carts out for your delayed day.

Centralia

The city’s website lists City Hall as closed Wednesday, Nov. 11, for Veterans Day. Utility emergencies that day go to 573-682-2139. Solid waste there is under a city contract, and the city’s curbside recycling page lists a recycling day of Wednesday, Nov. 4. The city’s website posts no holiday trash change for Nov. 11; call City Hall to confirm.

  • Columbia city offices, Go COMO buses and the landfill. The city’s trash page does not mention them for 2026. The city posted closures for all three for Veterans Day 2025, but no 2026 notice is posted.
  • Boonville city offices and trash. No holiday notice posted; call to confirm. City Hall: 660-882-2332.
  • Fulton trash. The city’s closures page lists offices closed but gave no trash change for Nov. 11.
  • Fayette city offices and trash. No notice posted; call to confirm.
  • Post offices. The U.S. Postal Service’s notice for Veterans Day 2025 said post offices closed and only Priority Mail Express was delivered. No 2026 notice posted; call to confirm.
  • Banks, state offices and county courthouses. No official 2026 notice posted for any of them; call to confirm.
  • Schools outside Columbia. Call your district.
  • Columbia Public Schools. The calendar shows no closure for Nov. 11, but the page said to confirm with the district: 573-214-3400.
