Fulton families, churches, businesses and nonprofits can sign up now to decorate a lighted Christmas tree in the city’s Field of Joy at Veterans Park this December.
Groups buy a space and bring their own tree, LED lights and decorations, according to Fulton Parks and Recreation. Sign-up is in person at Legends Rec-Plex, 808 State St. The lights come on for the season at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3.
The city’s notice does not list the fee or a sign-up deadline; Fulton Parks and Recreation answers questions at 573-592-3190.
Fulton is the seat of Callaway County, which the Rocheport Times began covering this fall; see our Callaway ballot guide for next week’s election, and our earlier look at plans for the Callaway nuclear plant.
