Guests present: None
In Mayor Yount's absence Mayor ProTem Painter called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. with
the Pledge of Allegiance.
Mayor ProTem Painter called for roll call 4 were in attendance. A quorum was established.
Mayor ProTem Painter called for approval of the agenda. Alderman Newell made a motion to
accept the agenda of the December 9, 2024 and seconded by Alderwomen Hammers. Motion
carried with all 4 ayes.
Mayor ProTem Painter called for a motion to approve the minutes of November 13, 2024.
Alderman Martin made a motion to approve the minutes of November 13, 2024 and seconded by
Alderwoman Hammers. Motion carried with all 4 ayes.
Mayor ProTem Painter called for a motion to approve the bills as of December 8, 2024.
Alderman Martin made a motion to approve the bills, as of December 8, 2024 and seconded by
Alderman Newell. Motion carried with all 4 ayes.

New Business:
1. Alderwoman Leach discussed incentives to attract new businesses. Some of her
ideas to increase interest among businesses is a community garden, fitness gym and
applying for grants to attract businesses.

City Services: No report.
Mayor ProTem Painter called for a motion to adjourn. Alderman Martin made a motion to
adjourn and seconded by Alderman Newell. Motion carried with all 4 ayes.
