Hallsville Inspection and Maintenance ordinance (§ 705.440)
Chapter 705: Water Regulations · Article II. Cross-Connection Control
In short: Property owners with required backflow prevention devices must pay for inspections by the water purveyor or a Missouri-certified tester: air-gaps and double-check and reduced-pressure devices every 12 months, with internal overhauls every 30 months (double-check) or 5 years (reduced-pressure). Defective devices must be fixed promptly, records kept, and devices never bypassed without authorization.
