Hallsville Zoning Commission: Appointment: Duties ordinance (§ 400.050)

The Planning Commission heretofore appointed shall also serve as and is hereby appointed as "the Zoning Commission." The Commission shall henceforth be known as "the Planning and Zoning Commission," and shall have the powers and duties of both such Commissions as set forth in this Chapter. The Commission shall recommend the boundaries of the various original districts and appropriate regulations to be enforced therein. Such Commission shall make a preliminary report and hold public hearings thereon before submitting its final report, and the Board of Aldermen shall not hold any public hearings nor take any action until it has received the final report of the Planning and Zoning Commission.
