Glasgow Parking Restrictions at Stump Island Park ordinance (Table IV-B)

A. Parking any motor vehicle, boat, trailer, or other moveable personal property in the parking lot on the area leased by the City of Glasgow to Missouri Conservation Department near the Missouri River boat ramp is prohibited except for persons who are then using the boat ramp to launch or waiting to receive boats or other water flotation craft then being used for recreation on the Missouri River; and for such persons so permitted to park, no more than two (2) motor vehicles, boats, trailers, or other moveable personal property items may be parked in the Missouri Conservation Department parking area for each boat or craft launched onto the Missouri River by any of the occupants of the parked vehicles or items. In addition the following restrictions shall also apply:

1. During periods when the Missouri River ferry is in operation, parking as authorized above shall be permitted only in designated parking spaces and parking outside those areas is prohibited.

2. Parking in the Missouri Conservation Lease area parking lot by persons waiting for the Missouri River ferry is strictly prohibited. Operators of vehicles waiting to use the Missouri River ferry shall park or stand their vehicles in designated waiting lines or areas provided for ferry service traffic.

3. The parking lot on the area leased by the City of Glasgow to Missouri Conservation Department near the Missouri River boat ramp for which parking is restricted shall be marked with appropriate signs so as to give notice to the public.

4. The penalty for violation of this Section shall be a fine of not less than one hundred dollars ($100.00) and not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00), confinement in the County jail for not more than ninety (90) days, or by both such fine and confinement.
