Glasgow Purchases ordinance (§ 145.020)

A. No purchase of the City of Glasgow, Missouri, shall be made without the approval of the Board of Aldermen, provided that the Board of Aldermen may decide that usual and recurring purchases can be made without specific authorization.

1. The Mayor of the City may authorize emergency purchases where there is an apparent emergency which requires the immediate purchase of supplies or contractual services. The Mayor shall explain the purchases he/she has authorized to the Board of Aldermen for subsequent ratification by the Board.
