Fulton Gender ordinance (Charter § 2.3)

City Charter · Article II. Powers

Wording in this Charter shall be so construed that the masculine shall import the feminine, the singular shall import the plural, and the word person shall include natural persons, firms, and corporations; provided that these roles of construction shall not apply to any part of the Charter containing express provisions excluding such construction or where the subject matter or content is contrary thereto.
