Fulton Same—Powers and duties of fire chief ordinance (§ 50-2)

The chief of the fire department is appointed as a member of the joint fire department committee created pursuant to the contract authorized in section 50-1 and is authorized and directed to carry out the terms of such contract and is further authorized to send such firefighting equipment and personnel owned and operated by the city to the assistance of the cities and fire districts contracted with under section 50-1 if a major conflagration or disaster call for assistance is made from any of such cities or fire districts, whenever in his judgment the equipment and personnel can be safely spared from the city at the time and under the circumstances.
