Fulton Receiving reward for improper services ordinance (§ 2-269)

Every city officer who shall, directly or indirectly, accept or receive any fee, consideration, gratuity or reward or act on any promise to receive any such compensation in connection with any city activity under the control and influence of any officer in his official capacity, by either omission or neglect, or showing partiality or favor in any responsibility or act for which he has the obligation and ability to control, contrary to law or ordinance, shall be subject to removal for cause.
