Fulton City counselor—Selection ordinance (§ 2-219)

Chapter 2: Administration · Article IV. Officers and Employees

The mayor, with the advice and consent of the city council, may appoint a city counselor, whose tenure shall be determined on an as-needed basis. The city counselor may be an individual or law firm, licensed to practice in this state. Residency is not a requirement for the appointment of an individual or law firm as city counselor.
