Fulton Same—Time of appointment; majority consent of council for certain appointments ordinance (§ 2-167)

The several city offices not made elective by the state law shall be filled by proper appointment, according to law and ordinance, not later than 30 days after the organization of the council in April in each year. The consent of a majority of the members elected to the city council shall be necessary to a confirmation of any appointment wherein the approval of the council is required.
