Fulton General provisions ordinance (§ 120-4)

Chapter 120: Zoning · Article I. General Provisions

In short: Land and buildings may be used only as the zoning district allows, with no more than one main building per lot, and vehicle, trailer or boat sales lots need a dustproof surface.

Our plain-English summary, not the official text or legal advice. The ordinance below is what counts.

(a) Except as hereinafter provided:

(1) No building shall be erected, converted, enlarged, reconstructed or structurally altered, nor shall any building or land be used except in accordance with the regulation of the district in which the building or land is located.

(2) In no case shall there be more than one main building hereafter erected or structurally altered on a lot, except as otherwise provided in this chapter.

(3) Cooperatives, condominiums, and all other forms of property ownership do not affect the general provisions of these regulations, and all requirements shall be observed as though the property were under single ownership.

(4) In all zoning classifications any display lots for the sale of new and used vehicles, trailers or boats shall be of a dustproof surface consisting of concrete, bituminous concrete or compacted gravel or crushed stone properly sealed and surface treated.
