Fulton Public open spaces ordinance (§ 102-4)
Chapter 102: Subdivisions · Article I. In General
Where a proposed school, neighborhood park or recreation area or public access to water frontage, shown on the comprehensive plan, is located in whole or in part of the applicant's subdivision, the planning and zoning commission may require as a condition of final approval that such space within the subdivision be reserved and not developed for a period not to exceed one year from the date of such final approval so that within such period the appropriate public agency may acquire the land in the manner provided by law and before it is developed for some purpose not within the comprehensive plan. If it is not so acquired and no legal action is filed by the public agency within such period, the reservation shall be of no further effect and the lands then may be used for other purposes.
