Fulton Submission and approval of sketch plat ordinance (§ 102-31)

In the interest of potentially saving time and effort before the preliminary plat is officially submitted, each subdivider of a subdivision shall submit a sketch plat for review by city staff. Such sketch plats will be considered as submitted for informal and confidential discussion between the subdivider and city staff. Submission of a subdivision sketch plat shall not constitute formal filing of a plat with the city. As far as may be practical on the basis of a sketch plat, the city engineer will informally advise the subdivider as promptly as possible of the

extent to which the proposed subdivision conforms to the design standards in this chapter, will discuss possible modifications necessary to secure conformance, and identify potential development challenges the developer should be aware prior to commencing with the preparation of a preliminary plat.
