Fayette Suit May Be Instituted for License Tax ordinance (§ 605.180)

Prosecuting and proceedings in the Municipal Court for violation of the provisions of this Chapter may be had as in cases of violations of other ordinances of said City, but no such prosecution in the Municipal Court shall be a bar to a suit by said City at the relation of the City Clerk in any court of competent jurisdiction for collection of any such license tax due said City under the provisions of this Chapter as a debt.
