Fayette Purpose ordinance (§ 225.030)

A. The object of the Parks and Recreation Commission shall be to study and recommend to the Board of Aldermen of the City of Fayette rules, regulations and procedures pertaining to:

1. The organization and administration of a broad program of public recreation for the citizens of Fayette.

2. The provision and maintenance of City-owned facilities needed for the conduct of a broad program of wholesome recreational activities.

3. The provision and supervision of adequate personnel necessary for the conduct of a broad program of wholesome recreational activities.

4. The financing of a broad program of public recreation for all of the citizens of the City of Fayette.
