Columbia Definition; construction; cost to city ordinance (§ 22-251)

Private sewers are those paid for by private parties constructing the same. Private sewers connected with the public, district or joint district sewers may be constructed under such restrictions and regulations as the council may prescribe by general ordinance; but the city shall bear no expense for the construction, repairing or cleaning of same, except as provided in section 22-254.
