Boonville Publication of official notices ordinance (§ 2-3)

(a) No proclamation or notice not specifically required by statute or ordinance of any kind whatsoever shall be published unless authorized in writing by the city administrator before publication thereof, which such written authorization shall accompany the claim or account of the claimant therefor; otherwise, the same shall be disallowed.

(b) The city shall not be liable for nor pay the cost of the publication of any proclamation or notice published contrary to the provisions of this section.
