Boonville Effect of article ordinance (§ 10-83)
Chapter 10: Licenses and Taxation · Division 1. Generally
The taxes required by this article shall be in lieu of the gross receipts tax required of any person engaged in such business, but shall not exempt any such person from the payment to the city of the real or personal property tax, nor the tax required of merchants or manufacturers for the sale of anything other than electric, gas or telephone service.
