    How to play The Mini

    Fill every white square so each across and down entry answers its clue.

    • Pick a square by tapping it. Tap it again to switch between Across and Down.
    • The clue bar above the keys shows the current clue. Tap the clue to switch direction; use ‹ and › for the previous or next clue.
    • Type with the keys on screen, or with your own keyboard on a computer: letters, Backspace, the arrow keys, Tab and Shift-Tab for the next or previous clue, and Space to switch direction.
    • Check marks wrong letters with a slash; Reveal fills in the answer and marks the square with a corner flag. Either one is noted on your result.
