A free public meeting on the future of Katy Station, the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad depot in downtown Columbia, hosted by the Save Katy Station campaign. According to the group’s press release, the evening runs in three parts: social time with live music by Audra Sergel from 5 to 6 p.m., a presentation on the building’s history and possible future uses from 6 to 6:30, and a public listening and feedback session from 6:30 to 8. Old blueprints and photographs of the building will be on display. A small appetizer buffet is included; other food and drink are available for purchase. No RSVP or ticket link was given. The campaign says the venue’s use does not imply endorsement of its efforts.
