New Franklin’s nine-acre City Park is on Union Street, a short walk from Broadway and the Katy Trail.
Highlights
- Open: daily, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- In the park: two shelter houses, a fishing pond with accessible access, a ballfield, playgrounds, horseshoe pits, two tennis courts and basketball goals.
- Community Building: holds 200 and rents for $100, plus a $100 deposit refunded if there’s no damage. Reserve through New Franklin City Hall, 130 E. Broadway, 660-848-2288.
