From the Rocheport Times archives — originally published September 2023 on the old rocheporttimes.com.
The annual Rocheport Wine Stroll 2023, an event organized by Rocheport Area Merchants Association (RAMA), is no longer held in October. The event was rescheduled to accommodate the needs of visitors and local business owners. October is already a busy time of year, so why not give more people a chance to participate in June?
What else can I do?
September 29 – October 1 there is the Biscuits, Beats and Brews music festival at Welbern Park. This event was originally scheduled for Oct 6, 7 and 8. However, with the Treeline cancellation, the promoters are trying to get acts from that show into the festival.
On October 14 we have our Second Saturday which features outside vendors, food trucks, music, and a good time
You can always hop on the Katy Trail for a walk or ride then stop by one of our cafes.
We have more events in the planning stages. So, please check out our October Events page for the latest info. If you have any questions you can always email the Rocheport Times Editor or use our Contact Us form.
When should I look for the next Wine Stroll event?
In 2024, the Rocheport Wine Stroll will be held in June. The final dates, tickets, invites, and general promotions for the event will start in late March, early April.
Typically, there will be an email and Facebook post announcing the event for Rocheport Area Merchants Association Facebook subscribers. These subscribers get first dibs on tickets, then they are released to the general public. Options to keep updated on events: You can sign up for the Rocheport Times Newsletter, go to Facebook and follow RAMA, or go to the RAMA web site and sign up for their newsletter.
