Another breakfast and brunch option is now available in Rocheport located at the Katy Trail trailhead parking. The proprietor of Mount Nebo Inn, Drew Lemberger. partnered with chef Amanda Belflower to provide visitors and locals with another morning destination before or after you hit the trail.

Welcome to another meal at Mount Nebo Inn
Visitors, walkers and cyclists flocked to the trailhead this sunny February morning as the temperature rose to a pleasant 50-plus degrees. It was still a bit chilly to eat outdoors, but in the upcoming weeks and months, a classy outdoor patio with a view of the trail will be an option as you brunch. While it is still cool, you can enjoy the aroma of quiche, coffee and mimosas inside.
A slice, a side, a beverage
One of the nice things about a limited menu offering is you can bet there will be quality food and excellent service — that is the case here. The choice of two quiches, four sides and four drinks make your time more about the experience and less about the hassle of figuring out a menu. Additionally, Drew can make a non-alcoholic mimosa or a custom cocktail to pair with your meal.

Service is more than bringing you food
The service style of the brunch follows suit in Drew’s traditional manner. When you walk in, you are greeted with a smile and a “hello and welcome.” Next, you pick your seat and brunch combination. Chef Belflower can also accommodate gluten-free requests with a frittata in lieu of the quiche, time permitting. Again the service! I discovered that extra sides can be purchased for an additional $3 in addition to the $20 brunch. You can definitely get your fill with this deal.
