Our events calendar isn’t written from scratch — most of what you see there is gathered from public event listings around Boone, Howard, and Cooper counties. We pull from a handful of trustworthy regional sources: downtown venue calendars, tourism sites, and other local publications that already do the work of keeping their event pages current.
Every event we publish credits and links back to where it came from, so you can always click through to the original source for full details, tickets, or updates. We’re not trying to replace those calendars — just make it easier for folks in and around Rocheport to see what’s happening in one place.
Nothing goes live automatically. A real person reviews each event before it’s published, checking that it’s actually relevant to our area and that the details hold up. If something looks off, or doesn’t belong, it gets held back rather than posted.
